Working on a Dollhouse

I am taking an on-line class from Laetitia Mieral in France.  The class focuses on making a paper mache dollhouse.  She designed a fabulous castle for the class but I knew I would not be able to keep it displayed if I made such a large piece so I opted for something smaller but following her techniques. Its been a long time...

After a lengthy absence from this blog, I did some soul searching and recognized that I really missed posting here and wanted to get back to it.  It was not by conscious intention that I stopped, somehow I grew to allow outside influences to take precedence over my own point of view and personal interests.  I had to wrest control of my spare time back. 

Victory.

It was an interesting journey, though not one I would encourage others to take.  One good thing that happened along the way though was a reawakening of my creative soul and a reaffirmation that the things I enjoy have serious meaning in my life and should not be dismissed.  I realized that by doing so I had accidentally dismissed parts of myself.    So I have re-oriented my priorities and placed time at home, creating and posting (!) much higher on the list.
