I am a doll maker and owner of the retail website clothdollpatterns.com.
I am also a member of the cloth doll club "Sisters of the Cloth" in Manhattan Beach, California and "Valley of the Dolls, Etc" Doll Club in LA. By day I am a Senior Producer for Blizzard Entertainment. I recently wrapped my last job as an Assoc. Producer on the Tinker Bell movie for Disney. I live in LA with my husband, Marv Wolfman, and our wonder dog Elle Dee!
Fantastic. I wish it was possible to take a Wendy Froud class but I think the UK to LA is just a little too far! I jusr love the ears and the hair. The dolls are brilliant and could grace any witchy scene.
Hi I'm new to cloth doll making and I would like to know how to make the face is it clay or what? I live in Columbus, Ohio do you know of any classes on doing this tipe of doll. Please help me if you can. Thank you Paul

Well done.
Wasn't that a fun workshop -- I wish I could afford to take it every year, just to soak up the energy that develops in that room!!
BTW -- come over to my blog and pick up your Proximidade Award!! =-)

Paul....the head is made of Fimo clay.
I am not familiar with your area but you might check in the back of some of the doll magazines...there are often classified adds that list classes.
