After a lengthy absence from this blog, I did some soul searching and recognized that I really missed posting here and wanted to get back to it. It was not by conscious intention that I stopped, somehow I grew to allow outside influences to take precedence over my own point of view and personal interests. I had to wrest control of my spare time back.
Victory.
It was an interesting journey, though not one I would encourage others to take. One good thing that happened along the way though was a reawakening of my creative soul and a reaffirmation that the things I enjoy have serious meaning in my life and should not be dismissed. I realized that by doing so I had accidentally dismissed parts of myself. So I have re-oriented my priorities and placed time at home, creating and posting (!) much higher on the list.

Yay! Glad to see you posting again! I'm still making dolls although not as prolifically as 10 years ago. Indeed, our personal interests should always be kept at the forefront of our lives! Best, Ann in NC
